This NY Times interview of Margaret Atwood (a Canadian novelist perhaps best known for The Handmaid’s Tale) by Ezra Klein was recommended by several of our members: https://tinyurl.com/z7rse5cf -- Eugenie Simpson said: During the interview which aired yesterday but was originally recorded three years ago, the prescient Atwood speaks pointedly to our predicaments today--with reflections on utopias and dystopias, totalitarianism, the human desire to do good, and its potential for manipulation, the fun of seeing our perceived enemies squashed, and a shout out to innovations like building materials made of mushrooms.
This Thursday at 2 pm at Truewood, AARP is presenting seminar on fraud and identity theft. See the attachment. My advice: delete (without opening) and ignore any emails, voice mails, or texts from entities that you don’t already deal with.
