  1. Thursday morning’s All-Member Zoom is happening, per usual, this Thursday, October 9 at 9:30 am. Sue Lerner will send out the link and questions on Wednesday.

  2. Sunday Arboretum Walk, October 12. Meet Dick Zerbe at 9 am at the Arboretum’s Graham Visitors Center.

  3. Please join Sue Lerner, Peggy O’Donnell and Nina Auerbach on Tuesday, October 14 at 3 pm on Zoom to share ideas for keeping our bodies in motion while enjoying it so much we make joyous movement an essential and regular part of our lives. This is one of the best ways to share yourself and build relationships with other members.

  5. I’ve attached the Minutes from our September Board meeting for those of you who follow the activities of the Board of Directors. Later this week, I’ll be sending you the ballot to vote for a slate of new Board members, as well as the materials for the October Board meeting.

  1. Our well-loved personal assistant Louise Andersen is recovering from surgery after a serious injury to her leg. She shared the benefits of a zero-gravity outdoor lounge chair when one needs to elevate one’s leg. And a reminder that Louise and others can borrow medical equipment from our “lending library” staffed (and at the home of) Joe Garcia.
